Join the Dirty Dozen on the first Sunday of every month for a club dig day. All the awesome mountain bike trails we enjoy in Orange only exist through the volunteer work we do.
The dig days are used for building new trails, maintaining and improving existing ones as well as building new facilities.

Kinross State Forrest
Get into the classic cross country mountain bike trails of Kinross forest. This unique 1 lap event will take in all your favourite sections on a circuit about 1 hour in duration.
Built into the Forests natural contours the Kinross trails give a wonderful experience immersing the rider in beautiful pine forest. The trails are open and flowing, cut into beautiful rich soft soils offering a smooth riding surface and some amazing corner traction in places.
Riders of all abilities are encouraged to come and give it go in what will be a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Back Yama state forrest
Held on fast flowing trails on moderate terrain this event is unique on the mtb calendar and a favorite of many riders. The high speed single tracks combined with long fire road stretches bring drafting into play, making it a tactical as well as technical challenge.
There are options for 25, 50 & 100km distances as well as teams.
Back Yama state forrest is located between Parkes and Eugowra in NSW central west. The spring weather will be perfect for mountain biking and there is plenty of space for camping the night before.

The 2019 Mountain Bike Cross Country (XCO) NSW State Championship will be held again at the Lake Canobolas Mountain Bike Park in Orange.
The venue was a huge hit last year with it's mix of fast flowing trails as well tough technical sections, fun as well as challenging.
The location means it's not only a awesome weekend of racing but also a great weekend for the whole family. The parks located in the beautiful Towac Valley, just outside Orange, with top class wineries, restaurants and accommodation. The popular Lake Canobolas is just across the road, which has swimming to cool off after your ride, bbq’s, playgrounds and the Lakeshore Cafe.
The event will be hosted from the adjoining scout camp where there is dormitory accommodation, camping, a kitchen, bathrooms and showers available.
Saturday will host Cross Country Short Circuit (xcc) races. A 20 minute race held on a wide and flowing course about 1.5km long, the product is fast and close racing that will be spectacular to participate in and watch. The results of this will be used to determine the starting order in the XCO championship race. Defending champions will also be given a front row start.
Sunday will hold the Cross Country Olympic (XCO) rounds. A 1 - 2hr race held on a 5.6km circuit, the winners of this will determine the NSW 2019 State Champions and will be rewarded with the jerseys to state their prowess.
The event is sanctioned by the Australian Mountain Bike Association (MTBA).

3 Challenges, 1 Winner.
Orange Mountain Bike Club will be hosting the second running of the Gravity Challenge. Held at the popular Lake Canobolas MTB Park, 3 descending stages will challenge your skills in 3 uniquely different ways..
FLOW: In2it is a top to bottom flow trail with big berms, long rollers and high speed. Popular with both cross country and enduro riders.
TECH: Highway to Hell downwards joined to Sewer Rat form our event day only stage Rat Out of Hell. A very rocky, technical, steep, black diamond descent.This will suit downhill as well as advanced cross country riders.
JUMP: Yaba is our popular jump track featuring multiple large jumps and epic size berms all at very high speed.
2 timed runs of each stage, the winner will be determined by the best total time.
All stages will be open earlier in the day for mandatory practice.
Due to the advanced and high risk nature of the stages (particularly the Tech and Jump) we recommend that all riders should be familiar and confident with these trails before competing.
Entry is open to people from anywhere, full face helmets will be mandatory and other body protection is also advisable.
A MTBA race license is also required.
